Intern Opportunities

Crystal Lake Gala Intern Program

The Crystal Lake Gala intern program hires 10-12 interns each summer to help out in many different areas. While many of our interns have had an interest meeting musical acts and having "fun in the sun", we wish to be clear that these internships are very labor oriented.

The 2008 Internships will require a full-time commitment in Crystal Lake, IL from approximately June 30 - July 7 (80-90 hours), with the possibility of Senior Interns starting earlier. The internships are volunteer positions, although scholarship money is paid at the conclusion of the Festival.

Before you apply, some thoughts:

  • Our season requires a full-time commitment from approximately June 30 through July 7 (some positions may start earlier-see above). This is an intensive professionally-streamed internship. While best efforts are made to ensure that interns get time off, there is not a regularly scheduled day off for that week.

  • If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us at (815) 334-7761.

  • If you send any part of your application via postal mail, please indicate that you submitted your application online.
